It has been an interesting time, as I have read your comments and musings. Again, it is quite interesting what thoughts people have had about this whole thing. Thoughts have ranged from who Jason is to what he believes to how bad of an idea this is and how frustrating it is.
Okay, so the whole lack of question mark. I must say that the responses to that have been fun. I mean, even one of the marketing professors on campus thinks it was a brilliant move...it did get people talking.
Today is the day of revealing who Jason is. It is very exciting to have this chance to introduce Jason, to you. So, here is a little about Jason.
Jason is a Senior here at CWU. He is happily married to a wonderful wife, Sarah. In his spare time, Jason loves to play basketball and poker. Jason also loves the sport of baseball. As for music, his favorite genre is Jazz.Jason believes in...
The powerful, persistent and unfathomable love of the one true God, in the persons of Father, Son and Holy Spirit for all people.
This love is expressed perfectly in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who entered into human history, fully God and fully man, showing us a God who is holy and perfect, who compassionately knows our suffering.
I believe that Jesus calls for us to live our whole lives in an all-consuming, passionate, and life-defining relationship with our Creator.
A relationship we’ve thwarted because we are all lost and guilty of wrongdoing. Because of this wrongdoing, we were distanced from the God we were meant to know.
But I believe that God nonetheless calls out to us now, and I believe that the Bible is completely accurate and inspired Word of God to us.
The Bible speaks about Jesus, crucified to bear the punishment for our sins, and who then rose from the dead, announcing to us that through Jesus we could have hope of life-after death spent with God.
I believe by the Holy Spirit, all who come and put their trust in the Lord for their whole lives will find a restored relationship with God, a new relationship with the world, forgiveness for our sins, new life in the present, and hope in the life to come. By God’s amazing grace to us we will be with Jesus on the day He returns…Just as He said.
I believe God is here now and forever. God is alive. God is active. God is not some distant power sitting in the heavens looking down at us with a telescope letting us run our own business, but rather God is closer to us than our very souls. He sustains not only our life, but all life.
More than just a creed, more than a system of beliefs, but my hope and all that I am.
Thanks for your time and comments. Have a nice day.
